BIO's


Originally from San Diego, California, Chuck Dean grew up playing guitar in the dangerous catastrophe prone southern California area.  His background reveals the source of his deft adaptability of playing styles.  He played at such LA clubs as the Starwood and the Whiskey a Go-Go touring with his band "The US Band" and later with his band "Chuck & the Tigers".  His band "Chuck & The Tigers" was signed to Indie Label World Records and got national airplay for the song "I Do Lie".

As a song writer, Chuck was selected two years in a row to be on San Diego's Homegrown Album.  He recorded with original members of John Mayalls Blues Breakers and the Mark Almond Band.   Chuck also shared the stage and toured with many national acts such as Edger Winter, Robin Trower, Noel Redding and many others. 

Chuck moved to Syracuse NY in 1993, hooked up with singer-harmonica player Pete Mcmahon, and started the band "The Ferocious Cat Daddies", which was nominated for a Sammy for best blues band in 1999.

The Dr is in the house amazing his audiences with his guitar histrionics as a steadfast veteran just serving up well played versions of blues and classic rock left handed upside down and with no pick!
 

Dave Olson

Drummer Dave Olson grew up in Eugene, Oregon. 
He
learned to play from listening to B.B. King.  While living in Eugene, he had the opportunity to play with Otis Rush, Albert Collins, Paul Butterfield, and  Luther Tucker.   It was in Eugene that he met Robert Cray in 1975.  He was a member of the Robert Cray Band from 1978- 1989.   During that time he recorded 4 albums, received 2 Grammy awards and numerous Gold and Platinum Records.  They filmed music videos and had appearances on T.V. shows such as Saturday Night Live and The Johnny Carson show

Over the years he has shared the stage with B.B. King, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn,  Keith Richards, Phil Collins, Huey Lewis, John Fogerty, Tina Turner , Bonnie Raitt, John Lee Hooker, and many more. During the 1990’s he recorded and toured with Savoy Brown and Texas Heat. 

He now lives in Camillus with his wife and two daughters.
 


 

Mike Schoeffter

Mike Schoeffter, a native of Syracuse's West Side,  played in the original Atlas Linen Company, with Ronnie Leigh and Alliance, Otis & the All-Night Workers, and in several other projects with guitarist Mark Copani.

His main influence:  The late Jaco Pastorius
